We come here for deer hunting. My in laws for near 2 decades, and 8 years for me. We travel up from the metro Detroit area, so we are not local by any means. Year round resort with all the trails for UTVs and snowmobiles. The Lodge itself has a fantastic staff, and they run summer concerts along with other events. Cabins are great for 4 people (we did 5 one year and it was good). Clean, cozy, comfortable, and affordable. Looking forward to next year already!

Really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It was open mic night (Thursday) at the bar. Great outdoor entertainment with local musicians. Food was very good and the beer was ice cold. Highly recommend.

Tonight was our first visit since the change in ownership and I had high expectations because we love this place so much. Our dinner was absolutely fantastic! The service was the best around as always and we had a great time!

WE LOVE COYOTE CROSSING! My husband and I got married at Caberfae Peaks in Oct 2025. Us and a few of our guests stayed at Coyote Crossing. It was very convenient being so close to Caberfae. We got a dog friendly cabin and it was nice to be able to keep our dogs close to us, since all of our family and friends were attending. My husband and his groomsmen used our cabin to get ready for the wedding and the large bathroom and kitchen area was perfect for them. Also, after the rehearsal, we were able to have a bonfire at Coyote Crossing cabins with our close family and friends. It made for the best night! The staff were very friendly and the check-in process was so easy. A few of our friends and family made a stop into the restaurant and had awesome meals. We plan to visit again! Maybe for our anniversary!

We are all over the state for construction work. We stayed here on and off for two months and it was a great place to stay. The accommodations were great and the bar had seriously good food. Everyone from the owner to the bartenders treated us great. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Carson is a rad dude. Chef really knows his craft.

My friend and I, on a whim, decided to go up to Cadillac to ride trails and at the last minute decided to just stay up in Cadillac, because we were having way too much fun to head back downstate, same day. We ended up doing the color tour, and on the tour of trails, there are a few points of interest, Coyote Crossing being one of them. It’s a diamond! We went to the restaurant for dinner, and the special was beef tips over mashed potatoes with green beans - it was DELICIOUS. We got a cabin, and for 229.00, it had two bedrooms, 3 beds, a futon couch and a nice loveseat, a fully functional kitchen with coffee and snacks, a fire pit and outside furniture, as well as the ability to heat each room separately. It FEELS like “Up North”. I usually don’t drink, (at all really), but having the ability to stay right here gave me the ability to have a couple of beers and we just had the best time. LOVE this place. Already thinking about bringing my family here again this season!

My fiancé and I absolutely loved our 2 night stay at Coyote Crossing! We came with our border collie to this beautiful place in search of peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. We enjoyed the restaurant for lunch and dinner throughout our stay, it was a short walk from our cabin. The cabin was so cozy with very comfortable furniture and a full kitchen. Great bird hunting and skiing near by. Julie (the owner) and her staff was attentive to our needs and communication was easy. I 100% recommend this place to anyone who loves the outdoors and good people. I’d love to check this place out again in the summer for some live music that they offer.
